Sometimes playing safe no longer
remains the option. Sometimes it is but living on the edge. If one is not accustomed
to it, this can be scary. If someone claims it isn’t, he or she is in a state
of denial. This fear, however, can very easily be transformed into self-exploration
adventure expedition, if confronted head-on.
I see it as leaving the warmth
and comfort of a home and camping in the woods for the first time among
scariest of the predators, darkness and fear playing at the max. You are always
on alert, your defense mechanism triggers itself against the predators,
listening to the faintest of sounds and reacting to the smallest of motions.
Your sight sees nothing but darkness in the beginning, even when eyes get used
to darkness, the visibility remains limited. But when sight partners with fear,
it looks beyond limits, exploring further and deeper, analyzing everything and
everyone that is or potentially can be a threat or an oppertunity and that is
when one learns how does it feel living on an edge.....and the adventure begins!
